Join us on a spectacular once in a life time experience with Banyan Tree Bike Tours , overseeing breath taking rice terrace and mountain views on an accelerating ride weaving through quiet villages and traditional farming communities to expose the true heart of Bali.

After a generous breakfast at restaurant Labhaga with magnificent views of Mountain Batukaru you are then driven a short distance away from the busy roads to where we will commence our 25km ride.

The ride takes you along the quiet back roads through the traditional village of Pacung in the Tabanan region giving you a chance to view the Balinese daily farming rituals and activities.

Our local guides are very informative and will explain the typical Balinese compound and the significance of the buildings and members of which it is composed.

The ride is completed by an extravagant lunch also catering for vegetarian needs at a Balinese home 15 minutes from Ubud. Return transportation to your hotel is included.


Cycling Tour
Transportation will arrive at your hotel arround 7.00 am – 8.00 am, then you will be driven to Pacung (In the heart land of Bali).

Enjoy breakfast over a vista of spectacular rice terrace and mountain farm Batukaru views. The organic breakfast and local kopi (coffee), tea or fruit juice put us in good spirits for the quiet meandering lanes to follow.

Then we'll ride on secret back roads and minor village roads with no traffic. During the bike ride, we'll visit.

* Organic farming,
* A Balinese plantation,
* A Balinese compound,
* A village temple, the rice paddies,
* See traditional irrigation and damming systems.

Our local experienced guide will explain Bali's amazing culture and country side. Upon arrival to our final destination you will be greeted with a delicious traditional lunch.

We suggest you bring a camera and smile to return, the warm greetings you receive along the way.

Return transportation to your hotel is included.
